"Staff — excellent. Food — very good. Location — amazing. But two minor quibbles. 1. Bar closes at 6 — right when I start thinking about a cocktail. There is a space above the reception that is set up like a bar but was never open the two times we stayed there. 2. Rooms are luxurious but there is no glass in the windows/doors so when it is hot (most of the time in Zihuatanejo) you have all the shutters closed for A/C so no view at all. "Nice upscale property. Nice weather but humid in November About 5 miles from Zihua and 3 miles from Ixtapa centro. Lot of walking down and up from the private beach and the swimming pools to the rooms. Beach elevator been down for few month. No hot tubs except in upgraded rooms. Far from town. Can’t walk it, need to take taxi. One way cost between $5-$8. They have buffet and 3 other private restaurants on the property. Meal per person about $22. Check buffet prices and what is included...
