"The Staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel had parking access inside the gate to the town. It was very clean and there was a simple breakfast in the morning with healthy options. The only problem we had was that the bed was extremely hard. So hard the we both tossed all night and woke with terrible back and shoulder pains. The bathroom was clean but the shower was so small you could not turn around in it. Overall we give it a 4 as we needed a clean place...

"One of Portofino’s finest hotels. Our private, luxurious, high-ceiling, large room with a balcony overlooking the sea was a total treat. A fairy tale. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us. We hope to return one summer to take advantage of the hotels own private beach. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Mare Hotel in Savona and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming, setting the tone for a great visit. "Great location, amazing views from the sea view rooms, friendly staff, very clean; but it’s not a four stars more like a 3 stars plus. No sound proofing between the rooms, forget sleeping quietly, bath towels are very rough, bath hot water is just mild…nice but for the price could be better"

"The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....
