Don’t be misled by the photos. This hotel is nothing like it looks: rather than glorious views of the Bosphorous l was given a dirty, smelly basement room that reeked of tobacco (despite booking a non-smoking room) with broken furniture, mouldy shower and worn bedding. The only plus side was that the staff were friendly and tried to help, even though they only spoke Turkish. Also, be warned that it is located at the top of a very steep hill if you are walking there from public transport.

During the three nights I stayed, cleaning was never done, even though I asked. There was an internet problem, and I couldn't get any work done. I wouldn't recommend it, and I won't choose it again. Yes, they are polite, but honestly, I need to say these things.

I have nothing bad to say about this property except that it is marketed incorrectly. This is not a 5-star hotel. The pictures are also deceiving. Should I give it a 1-star review for incorrect advertisement? Maybe. But I cut 2-stars for just that. Anyway, the rooms are really small and so is the bathroom. The bathroom smelled initially, and the smell didn't go away for a couple of days. I stayed there 5 days and the bathroom was the worst experience. The toilet and the shower were cramed. There was hardly any space to walk around the bed in the bedroom. Also, this is not a non-smoking hotel. There is smoke everywhere. Even one of the receptionist was smoking.
