「The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. This year, the same problem occurred and, while we were at Lochranza, she texted me to check things were...

It was a shame the dishwasher program didnt work, the fire alarm fell from the ceiling and the tv was too old to take any form of digital equipment, nor did the dvd function work. 「You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. Would give Hope to be back again. Thank you for the amazing stay 」

It is very peaceful and still missing the great views of the Loch and countryside whilst sitting on the deck. We also did the trail biking during our stay which we all thoroughly enjoyed. 「The apartment is clean and comfortable with great views. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking although apart from salt, pepper and cooking oil there were no other basics such as tea and coffee.Communication with the owner was excellent. It was easy to park in front of the property. It might not suit those with mobility issues as the (internal) stairs to the property are quite steep. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. 」

「This property is fabulous. It is definitely a home from home, has everything you need & i would live here full-time. Fantastic views & very central to town. The beds are very comfortable & has great extras like phone chargers for any phone. Power shower & as it was a winter holiday the heating kept the house lovely & cosy. We had the best time & a very restful holiday. The hosts were attentive & went above & beyond when i accidentally left my jewellery. We would highly recommend this property...
