With recent construction, a 2nd floor bedroom, bathroom and large ocean viewing terrace was added to make Casa de Musica a 2 bedroom villa.
Once again the owners have completely transformed Casa de Musica and as renters have come to expect, they will find a romantic, unique, charming and private house that now caters to two couples or a family of four. Casa de Musica is located on the south end of the island with incredible ocean views. High-end furnishings with a boho chic feel that offers you the chance to fully kick back and relax island style. The air conditioned downstairs living room provides open seating for four with an oversized sofa, two comfy chairs, coffee table and wardrobe. A large flatscreen TV with DVD player and Apple TV and other streaming capabilities are available in both bedrooms for your entertainment, along with high speed internet and wifi should you need to connect with the outside world. The air conditioned downstairs bedroom has a king sized bed with 800 thread count sheets, plenty of pillows and a comforter.
The downstairs bathroom has marble throughout, a double vanity and an indoor shower. Floor to ceiling glass windows provide a view of the private garden. A sliding door opens out to the garden and a tiled walkway leads to a private, outdoor shower surrounded by the lush plants and flowers.
From the front patio an outdoor stairway leads up to the large, covered terrace. This is designed to allow access for all guests to enjoy the terrace. The views of the ocean and the cool breezes from here are quite amazing although either bedroom also have a view of the ocean.
A sliding glass door opens to the spacious upstairs, air conditioned, second bedroom with lots of windows and vaulted ceiling. Again you will find a king sized bed with 800 thread count sheets, plenty of pillows and a comforter.
The upstairs bathroom is beautifully tiled and offers separate sinks for each guest with a view of the ocean while showering. Windows and skylights provide plenty of natural lighting.
The fully equipped kitchen, under the beautiful, grand, semi-enclosed palapa has sliding glass doors that open to allow the gentle Caribbean breezes through. The other side of the palapa is open to a private garden patio and separate laundry room. The kitchen bar has stool seating for six plus two fun swing chairs. The marble dining table with seating for four is a great place to enjoy engaging conversation while dining or playing games. Two over sized comfy chairs make the palapa the perfect hang.
Swim laps in the 58' x 7' heated, salt water pool or take it easy as you sunbathe and sip on a cocktail in the 11' x 11' shallow end platform. Catch the stunning sunrises or watch the shooting stars and listen to the crashing waves from the patio and pool deck.
With a name like Casa de Musica, of course you will have indoor and outdoor music streaming throughout with a Sonos system that you can control with an app on your phone.
An alfresco powder room with a second outdoor shower sits in the far corner of the palapa, and is easily accessible from the pool.
Feeling too relaxed? Stroll the Mayan Ruins looking out to sea at the southern most point of the island. This is a popular attraction with a restaurant and just a few minutes walk. The Garrafon Natural Reef Park is also just a few minutes walk and offers a range of recreational water activities.
A fun way to venture out and explore all this amazing island has to offer is to rent a golf cart or scooter or just take one of the many little red taxis running about the island. Enjoy the award winning beaches of Playa Norte with its cosmopolitan beach bars, restaurants and stretches of soft white sand and turquoise water. Hidalgo Street is a buzzing hive of activity with tourists shops, bars and restaurants so numerous that you'll never eat at the same place twice.
