"We have enjoyed our stay very much. Our only comment is regarding the way to reach property staff as we had no lights in one of the rooms and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. The gentlemen at the bar was very helpful and managed to contact the staff who promised to repair the lights the next morning, but that didn’t happen. This didn’t affect our stay very much but we wanted to highlight it."

Its central location provides easy access to hill towns and seaside areas of Istria as well as day trips to explore Slovenia and Trieste. The property manager lives in the neighborhood and always immediately responded to our questions or assistance requests. We arrived mid-September just as the weather became unseasonably cold. "Very nice, cozy and modern condo at the Androna location. It maybe a little bit hard to navigate to the entrance but luckily the instructions were very clear in a Whatsapp message. The only minor drawback is that you need to walk up a flight of stairs to get the elevator. If you get the top floor, you'll need to walk up another flight of stairs but it's typical for a building like this. "The Villa Maria is amazing, we had a thoroughly relaxing time. The pool was very well used by us all but especially my 2 children, the Villa has everything you need for a stress free holiday. You definitely need a car as it is so remote but in our opinion this added to the charm. The owners Valmi and Andreja were fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend the Villa Maria, my youngest is 9 and she loved it. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Valmi and Andreja."

"I love the area. Plus my family lives around there so it's convenient. Bus transport is great. And it's a 15-20 minute walk downtown. I did not like my apartment. I had 3 windows facing an airshaft and one with light and air. I should have requested a different apartment but I think I was just too tired from the trip."

"We had a fantastic week at Villa Eda, an immaculate property that exceeded our expectations, apart from the lack of a hand whisk in the kitchen. Despite the heat wave with temperatures in the high 30s to low 40s, the efficient air conditioning kept us comfortable. The property’s isolation was perfect for us, although the 10-minute drive on an uneven gravel track requires a car with good suspension. The small pool and outdoor kitchen were wonderful, and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens...

"This was a very nice one-night stay, clean and enjoyable with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast was enjoyable as well. The breakfast area is also open in the evening for coffee, hot chocolate and cookies, which is a pleasant touch. Parking is about a five-minute walk and shopping and dining are right around the corner."

"There was nothing not to like about this hotel. All the staff were very friendly. The Hotel itself was very clean with good size rooms, including a very comfortable big bed and easy to use hot shower. It is in a good quiet position, 5 minutes away from the shops and restaurants and about 15 minutes away from the bus that takes you to Lake Bled (definitely worth a visit). We would definitely recommend this hotel."
