"Awesome hotel! Free parking! Cozy rooms that are a little dated but it didn’t bother us. The breakfast has orange juice, coffee, donuts, croissants, apples, instant oatmeal, etc. It’s about a 10 min walk to the subway to go to NYC which wasn’t bad at all. "Staffs were friendly and receptive to our issues/concerns. We had problem with the rooms not giving adequate heat and a maintenance guy came to check the rooms. Rooms were clean and towels were adequate. Water pressure was strong and enough hot water. The hotel give enough variety for breakfast. It is a walking distance to Journal Square Path Train/ parking garage and a diner. The area is always busy with people/cars and buses that I did not feel unsafe walking at night. "

"Overall it was a good experience. However, I expect pillows to be king sized when i'm in a king sized bed. these were smaller than standard. "We love this hotel with one quick disclaimer. This hotel is located on a busy commercial road and offers little in the immediate vicinity as far as shopping or restaurants. But the location is perfect for us to visit family. Area restaurants are plentiful with all types in the area. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. The place is super clean, furniture is comfortable, bathrooms are spacious. Not fancy, just good old-fashioned hospitality the way it should be. "
