"What a wonderful holiday home. New and fresh, photos don’t do it justice. Lots of space, bedrooms are upstairs - 2 bedrooms each with 4 single beds so could accommodate a large group. Few minutes walk to the lake with fabulous views of Mt Fuji and close to Oishi park. You can see Mt Fuji from the holiday house and it had a little deck (but no table/chairs). Really quiet area. No washer/dryer which was the only negative. House is managed by the shop across the road which is where you check in...

We also had issues with the electricity—every time we tried to warm up the house, the breaker kept tripping, which was frustrating, especially in the cold. The place could use a few more basic amenities, like scissors. That said, we got caught in a surprise snowstorm, and I wasn’t prepared for the conditions, but the host was very kind and gave us extra time to chain up...
