"Oyster Bay Lodge was a great stop on our Garden Route adventure. The road going in from Port Elizabeth was a bit sketchy, but it added to the allure of the hidden gem of Oyster Bay. Wonderful food and dining atmosphere, great walks in the woods, and a private, beautiful white beach. Great pool also. Two nights was not enough!"

"It was our 2nd time to stay at this property. The breakfasts are amazing with more than normal choices. There is an honesty bar which is well stocked and reasonably priced. Overall a lovely place to stay within walking distance to an amazing beach. "

"On arrival we were amazed at the beautiful design and decor of the main building as well as the presence of the zebras grazing so close to us as we got out of our car. The hosts, Didier and Florbella, were lovely and made sure we were well looked after.The resident chefs made delicious breakfasts each morning and the food in the evening was so good we ate in for the three nights we stayed there. A wonderfully unique experience!

"On arrival we were amazed at the beautiful design and decor of the main building as well as the presence of the zebras grazing so close to us as we got out of our car. The hosts, Didier and Florbella, were lovely and made sure we were well looked after.The resident chefs made delicious breakfasts each morning and the food in the evening was so good we ate in for the three nights we stayed there. Our “tent”, which was really a hut with canvas walls and a thatched roof, was great - very clean and well appointed; glamping rather than camping! From our balcony we were able to see 2 giraffes on the other side of the valley too. We particularly enjoyed the free-roaming zebras, and how close they came to the building, while still being essentially wild animals. Altogether, a unique experience; one not to be missed!"
