The Space:
Maggies Farm Stay by Tiny Away is situated in rural New South Wales, just an hour drive from Newcastle and 2 hours away from Sydney. Nearby Wollombi Markets, Hunter Valley Wineries, and Yengo National Park.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny house with easy access to clean rainwater to bathe and drink. Split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. This includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.

Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's private residence.

By car:
- 1 hr drive from Newcastle

By public transport: We recommend guests to travel by private vehicle as there are no public transports that travels directly from our property. Thank you.
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is available. Please note that Wifi at the Tiny House is only in range at the Tiny house not the front gate or when you walk away from the Tiny House.
- Mobile reception is poor
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Bring your own firewood for your usage, NO Camp Fires in Summer (From December to February)
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Pets MUST be kept on lead at all times, no exceptions
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Safety guidelines
- Please keep an eye on your children as there are unfenced dams on the site
- Please don’t wear open-toed shoes during snake season or when walking outdoors
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- PLEASE READ: Camp fires are at the discretion of the owner, except when there is a total fire ban then they are not permitted. We are in the country in the fire season there will no camp fires the summer
Important note:
- Drive 5 mins out the gate along Putty Rd for garbage disposal and dispose of your trash in the roadside bins. Or, you can leave your trash outside the tiny house and pay $25 to your land host as a disposal fee.
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
