"I have just spent a month at the Ibis city centre Kyiv. The hotel and staff were excellent in very difficult circumstances. The hotel continued with dining facilities and laundry despite constant air raid alarms and power difficulties. How the staff keep such happy smiling faces with all that must be going on in their own lives is incredible. "Overall, I’d recommend this hotel. It was very clean and generally well equipped. The bed was particularly comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. However, there was an issue with the water pressure and temperature around 8am one morning. I don’t know whether the system was overwhelmed by everyone showering at a similar time of the morning or if it was an isolated issue with the room. Other than that, an enjoyable stay and great value for money as most things in Ukraine seem to be!"

"Everything was ok, but there was some misinformation on check-in regarding balcony access. Also, there seems to be payment issues for foreigners (which I have not experienced elsewhere)... Other than that, all was ok. I'd say again if the need arises."

"It was ok. I liked it. Room was a bit difficult to breath at night due to lack of ventilation. The more people, the less oxygen. Also, some noise at night by boys in the building. Other than that it was nice. Seemed safe, and a nice seating area. I would stay again, but I will hope it will be less people in the room."

"It's a very nice hotel right next to Andryinvski descent. The hotel is shining clean, the staff is friendly. Its located within a short walk both from Podil entertainment district and the sights of the city center. Highly recommended"

"Great location. Clean. They need to be more family and business women traveler friendly. The bar area that also doubles up as front lounge reception area/is toxic with a men only vibe. In the evening it becomes tough to pass by there-rough boozed up and exclusive to certain crowd."

"Really great staff in a very nice area of the city. Although not near city center, Bolt is very inexpensive and metro station is nearby. I could not have been happier and highly recommend this property. Two minor suggestions: Provde tissues and paper towels."

"Reception made a small mistake during my check in and was very apologetic. They upgraded my room and gave me a free drink voucher. I appreciate the compensation although I do wish I would have been offered credit for my next stay. The upgraded room didn’t feel all too upgraded to me. It was a city view room which was fine, but I preferred the atrium view. And the drain in the bathroom tube would gurgle. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. I plan to stay here every time I come to Kyiv. "
