I can’t get over how calm the water was and how beautiful the beach was. On our last night we could seen manatees just beyond the pier....

「We rented this house for a high school graduation trip. The house was perfect for what we needed. The house was clean. If there is something to complain about, I would say the wifi does not work upstairs and the doors scrap the floor causing damage to the tile. We did have a lizard friend in the house and made for a comical video of having our graduate boys getting the lizard out of the cabinet. We do plan on going back and renting the house again.」

They were always available when needed but never obvious. They provided advice for where to purchase groceries/fruit and recommendations for activities. 「We had seen this property when we were in Hopkins about 5 years ago and knew it was the place we wanted to stay at when we came back to Belize. We could not have been happier with our time at MyanHeaven, a slice of heaven right in Hopkins - a beautiful house with wonderful beds and bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, gorgeous peaceful veranda, feet from the beach, easy walking distance to resturants, groceries, vegetable stands and the Thongs Cafe (great food). 「The house was a good location for us as home base while exploring from Dangriga to Placencia and beyond. We really enjoyed the breeze in the evenings on the veranda and the early mornings on the roof top. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning in the bedrooms a life saver. It was a comfortable house. The only downside was the four sets of multiple keys, especially at check-in when we were unfamiliar with everything. Seems like a small thing, but it was a challenge to navigate in the heat.」

「Large rooms, great porch area with fantastic views, nice backyard for relaxing and watching the sea. Fans and air conditioning were welcome in the warm humid climate. Bikes and kayaks a bonus though the water was a bit choppy to use kayaks much. Able to swim but have to walk out a bit, A few jelly fish showed up but not many」

「Our bungalow was perfect for us. Everything we needed, and the bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows. Also loved the shower. Mark was so helpful with anything you needed! He is still working on making it even better with having bikes available and maybe even corn hole!! (our suggestion).」

「This home was absolutely amazing! My only disappointment was the weather and the condition of the ocean and the air. Apparently, I was told, they are burning fires in Mexico and also Belize has a lot of fires burning as well, so the air was thick with smoke and haze. It stayed at around 90 degrees fahrenheit, day and night. There was no tide, no breeze, no relief from the heat, no access to the ocean from the property unless you have a boat. 「Blue Moon Cabana is as described in its online advertising. Very well kept with no mechanical issues. Also well provisioned with kitchen equipment and other necessities. It is not resort-like. You are in the center of the town, You will have lots of contact with the local residents. We found them to be very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I were to return to Hopkins.」

「We had a lovely stay at Casa Carazon after spending two weeks in the Belizean rainforest. This is a private peaceful setting for soaking up the Caribbean sea and sun! The house is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, taking a dip in the pool and sea kayaking. In the evening we had scrabble contexts. A store is merely 10 minutes away for restocking or picking up anything you might have forgotten. The caretakers were attentive and gracious....
