"This house was an excellent size for our family of 5. The kitchen had plenty of bowls/plates/cups. It also had a toaster and pots for cooking a light breakfast. The house is older and has more of the “old house charm” than I expected, with lots of character in the walls and staircase. The home was very very clean though! And had lovely hot water. For the price, this was a great option for us. The location was also very convenient. "

"This was a perfect weekend getaway for friends. The livingroom sofa situation is amazing - we had so much room to spread out and all still be together, and the reclining end seats and throw blankets were so comfortable. I love that the lightswitches are labeled! We used 4 of the bedrooms and all slept really well. None of the bedrooms have an en-suite bath attached (so there's no fighting amongst the group over that!) but the bathrooms are all of a good size and the ground floor has a walk-in...

"Only stayed here overnight, but everything was satisfactory. Everything is provided and there were even snacks. The hot tub was out of commission which was disappointing, but the host was accommodating when I brought it to attention. Enjoyable stay overall!"

"This property is beautiful and situated in a breathtaking area. Check-in was quick and simple. Lodging is exactly as pictured on VRBO. It's homey and comfortable and lacks for nothing. "In town with my wife and 3 friends for an archery tournament at Spooky Nook. Very comfy house, had no problems at all. Super convenient and will definitely look into this location next year for the annual tournament. The owner Kathy was very communicative and helpful. "

"What an assume little “motel, not really a motel like others around though as their rooms are redone cabooses. It’s absolutely awesome sleeping in a very clean and cute, authentic caboose. Adorable, clean, and so much fun. You can also watch the Strasburg train pass right from your front door. The restaurant, Casey Jones, is very convenient, the food is good and the staff are all amazing. We’re already making plans to come back with our granddaughter. "
