"The hotel is fine and in decent condition. The walls are thin enabling me to hear my neighbors' TV. The staff were generally unable to converse in English and thus I had to use my broken German to try to get by - this resulted in my interactions with all but one person (a waitress at breakfast) being terse and cold - which is not/not typical for Austrians. "This is a former hunter’s lodge. Beautiful lodge, accommodations were fine, as was the restaurant. WIFI was very good. Perfect for relaxing....if TV is mandatory in your life...the lodge is not for you. We thoroughly enjoyed it here....in your own world!"

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and each time have found it to be clean and comfortable with large, spacious rooms. Unfortunately, each time it has rained, so we couldn't really enjoy the nice hiking trails adjoining the property.
