The decor everywhere is perfect and little touches like the music at breakfast (which was delicious) make such a difference. Kat was welcoming and we enjoyed learning about the building from her. 「宿泊当日の申し込み予約確定だたのですが、到着時オーナーが留守でした。電話したのですが、出先から帰られるまで1時間ほど待たされました。オーナーは当日予約確定の事実を確認されておらず、このような事態になったようです。Hotels.comからオーナーへの予約確認連絡方法に問題がありそうです。 ロッジの設備は快適で、オーナーのサービスも満点でした。ロケーションもよくカンタベリーの街を楽しめました。」

「Generous room with a direct door onto the courtyard which I liked. Room was clean although the building was showing some signs of age. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the small menu was all very tasty. Other good pubs in the village for a change of scenery but good beer and camaraderie in the Rose and Crown.」

「宿のオーナー夫妻がとても気さくでそれだけで快適に過ごせた。部屋も広く重厚な造りで伝統を感じる宿であった。主要道から外れているのでとても静かに滞在できた。朝食の場所は狭いが逆に他の宿泊客と楽しく話しながら食事が出来て良かった。」

「Such a peaceful place. The owners were delightful. The property is at the very top of a hill and the drive is very narrow with parking on both sides. A real skills test of your driving. But the stay is worth it. Breakfast by a panoramic window looking down on the city was great. Large split bathroom with spa type shower was the greatest luxury of the room. Would stay there again.」
