「Literally in the middle of nowhere but if you like that sort of thing this is the place to be. We loved it for a few nights. House was great, road to get there was not but we have 4 wheel drive and our kids thought it was hilarious.」

「I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future.」

「Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....
