Hiking trail was great for the dog, the grounds were beautiful and the staff were all amazing. We even got to meet the owners and he met our dog. Will always stay here when I come to Helen in the future

This was the most relaxing weekend my husband and I have had in a while. From being greeted with champagne to water bottles from valet upon departure and everything in between. We were spoiled while here and will be back.

Great location, clean & updated rooms. Best pork chop my partner has ever had at the restaurant. Sky Bar has a nice open air feel with a view of the mountains surrounding the property. Having a car is nearly a must if you will be in town late as there are very few drive shares in the area. The walk from town to the hotel is mostly uphill and we almost had to resort to that one night. It took 20 mins to get a driver to accept our ride.

Well located, nice an neat rooms, we were placed in a room next to the people with pets and a dog did not stop barking. We called the front desk. It took me 5 calls for them to answer. They located the owners of the dogs and finally was quiet.

The Valhalla Resort was very nice. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The main restaurant was very good. The resort is a bit dated but then again it is supposed to be indicative of an old German town. Helen, Ga is very touristy so our visit was short.

Shoutout to check-in staff who re-accommodated use where we could have our infant son (didn’t read the no-children policy). Daniel helped us with the TV, ice, transportation and was just a great person to talk to. We really loved the hotel. Too bad we had a bad experience in the restaurant.

This was an amazing property to stay at. Felt so well taken care of the whole time. The staff was great. The skybar was the best. Drink's, food and views can’t beat it. Highly recommend staying here for an adult only vacation.

Everyone we encountered at Valhalla was friendly and eager to please. Our room was clean and comfortable. We ate 3 meals at the hotel and the food was delicious. However the hotel is showing some age and the fall decor was a bit kitschy. The self-parking area is in a sketchy area next to a dumpster behind the hotel - you must climb an old wooden stair up the mountain to get to the ground level. I recommend using valet parking. Great customer service earns the 5 overall.
