"Best last minute choice we made! Flew in for a convention at RAI and wanted to stay away from the city. It was a perfect 25 minute drive with beautiful scenery as well as so peaceful. The vacation rental was amazing! We have been using VRBO for years and this rental was in the Top 5! It was brand new, on a canal, overlooking the water. Everything you need is close by. Groceries, restaurants, etc. Thank you for sharing your place with us."

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "A lovely house and garden with stream at the end. The river is close by, and was idyllic to paddle board / kayak on and has a well used cycle route alone it. The tennis court, almost next to the house, was always available. Location is rural but it is easy to get to Amsterdam and lots of other places. Caroline was quick to respond to messages. "About a 20 minute drive from the Amsterdam airport, this is a cute little home in a quaint town in the country. Some restaurants close by but not a whole lot else, which is kind of what we were looking for. The host is nice, knowledgeable about sites and surrounding areas, and helpful with special needs.
