"Unfortunately my wife and I weren't quite prepared for this much of a farm stay. The outside smelled just like a fresh pile of cow poo was placed under your nose, and since our room windows were open, that smell stayed in the room for hours. It seems like multiple rooms share a shower and toilet, so people running around in towels and chatting with each other in the hall is normal. "The hotel was great. The staff went out of it's way to help me, and seemed genuinely glad to see my dog everytime we walked through the hotel. Everyone spoke English and was also willing to help me work on my German. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, as was the local Zölter beer they had on tap. Best of all, there were several hiking trails within a five minute walk of the front door. The area seems perfect for skiing, with several lifts and a signs for ski lessons visible in the hotel...

"The location is beautiful (you'll probably need a car to get to it though).The hotel was very well laid out and the pool was great too. Food was really, really good (clearly a source of pride). I used it as a base to see Neuschwanstein and hohenschwangau castles and do some touring by car. What made the stay wxtra-special was the effort the staff went to to make a non-german speaker like me so welcome.I will definitely stay again, you should stay too!"

"Location is excellent: shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc. 10 minutes walk to the old town and tourist attractions. Helpful staff. Standard doble room with terrace is quite tight. Double bed is just ok although a small double size. There was a very small wardrobe with only few hangers and one shelf only. There were no other cabinets for clothes. Modern bathroom. However, there's a lack of some privacy due to its glass walls."

"This was a nice property, set in it's own grounds with a nice wooden area behind and 15 minutes walking distance into the old town at Kempten. Room was clean, comfortable, although it was not sure conditioned. A nice breakfast buffet was included also. Parking and vehicular access was also simple. "
