Beautiful Log Cabin at Pickerel Lake South Dakota

Beautiful log cabin located on the best beach on the east side of Pickerel Lake. 4 big bedrooms, sleeps 13 . Our lake home is spacious and has a great view of the lake. There is a big screened in porch with an outdoor fireplace, which is a great place to cozy up next to a fire and watch the sunset.
There is plenty of space to entertain both indoors and outdoors. The expansive yard adjacent to the lake has both sun and shade for outdoor fun. This beautiful east side location offers magnificent sunsets , a sandy swimming beach, plus a dock for your swimming, fishing, and boating enjoyment.

Wonderful family gathering !
We enjoyed every aspect of our time on Pickerel Lake . We had plenty of room for all of our family to gather & enjoy eachothers company . The screened in porch was wonderful in the evenings , the level lake lot with direct access to the water was so convenient for all ages , from the very young to the elderly . We fished off the dock & waded in the water . The unobstructed lake view & sunsets were delightful. The log cabin itself is beautiful, The area is surrounded by trees & paths to walk on , the neighbors are friendly , the lake was clean and The owners did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome . There’s too many wonderful things to mention ! We had a great time here and would definitely return .

Beautiful, but bring your own watercrafts and boats bc there are none in the area for rent to speak of. No jet skis or boats that could pull tubes, etc. to rent at all in the area. No fault of the property owner though. Screened in porch was a delight.

Relaxing, fun and great Location!
The weather wasn’t the greatest during our stay but the outside screened in porch made it possible to be outside our entire stay. Alex and Annie were very easy to deal with would definitely go back again next year!

Excellent vacation spot on Pickerel Lake
This location is an excellent spot on the beach. Very easy to find. Great beach area. The cabin has abundant sleeping space, clean large bathrooms, and a great kitchen well stocked. It also has a beautiful screened porch, overlooking the lake, where you can witness extraordinary sunsets. Great large grill. We had a wonderful time.

Pickerel Lake Long Weekend
We stayed at this property for 5 nights in mid June. The first few days were sunny and the lake and screened porch were amazing. When the weather turned I was concerned that our family of 12 would be on top of each other but there was so much space and small areas to retreat to. We were able to have a few minutes alone and then come back together for larger group activities. I know we all want to be unplugged on vacation but some of us were taking college classes and working remotely. The reliable internet was a big plus. Perhaps the biggest asset for our group was the large, well appointed kitchen. We were able to cook and enjoy each other’s company in one large kitchen/dining area. The ice maker and separate beverage refrigerator were a plus as well.

We usually fish Canada the first part of June. That not being an option this year we decided to visit the Glacial Lakes of South Dakota. We found Annie and Alex’s beautiful property and decided to give it a try. Everything about it was as described and we were very pleased with our experience! Highly recommended!!

A beautiful log home right on the east shore of Pickerel Lake. It's very clean and comfortable, and Alex and Annie are are excellent hosts. We fished from their dock and tied our pontoon there as well. The house is very cozy and provides wonderful views of sunsets across the lake!

Our group of fishermen loved the cabin. Nice dock and good public boat ramps on Pickerel Lake. We all had a great time! I even recommended it to another group of guys.
