Acceptable but fell a little short
We stayed at this home for the girls' state basketball tournament and enjoyed many aspects—plenty of towels, comfortable beds, a great location near the Resch Center, and fun games. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap dispensers in the showers.However, there were some issues. The propane tank ran out five minutes into grilling, and the built-in lighter didn’t work, with no matches or lighter stick provided (we found a lighter in one of our bags). The first bedroom’s door wouldn’t close, the kitchen chairs were too high for the table, and the living room couch was uncomfortable. The upstairs dining chairs were very worn, and the bench cushions kept slipping off. The video game downstairs also didn't work. It kept freezing up once a game was selected.Our biggest concern was the hot tub camera. When our 17-year-old daughters were in the hot tub, the blue ring turned on, indicating someone was watching. When one of them mentioned it, the light immediately turned off. They tested if it was motion-activated, but it didn’t turn back on, which was unsettling.The bathrooms were small, and more shelving in the downstairs bathroom would help, especially for hand soap. It sat on a shelf at head level, making it awkward to use. With a few improvements, this rental could be better. Our biggest concern was, of course, the Ring light that came on while being used.
