The Birch House was built in 1933 and has been beautifully updated throughout the years. This amazing property was once home to Pioneer, Platt Cline (Cline Library, NAU Cline Auditorium). There are plenty of hiking and cycling trails close by as well as Wheeler and Thorpe Park.

The Birch house is 1300 SQFT and can comfortably sleep 8 people in its 3 bedrooms and Queen sofa sleeper. The master bedroom is spacious and has a King bed with direct access to a private deck. The second bedroom is off of the living room has a Queen bed and walk in closet. The large bunk room off the kitchen holds a set of twin bunk beds with twin trundle, 40" flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything a cook should need! The living area is beautifully lit during the day with three sky lights and hosts comfortable seating and a Queen sofa sleeper. The 52" flat screen TV is equipped with DVD player and Apple TV. The dining area has a large table and plenty of seating. The larger of the 2 bathrooms is classically decorated with a rustic barn door closure. The home is equipped with central heating and air conditioning as well as a gas fireplace for your comfort no matter the temperature!

The outdoor areas at The Birch House are spacious and inviting with plenty of trees! There is a small stone patio with a BBQ grill off the kitchen for when you feel like grilling at home. There are 2 additional patios around the side yard with plenty of seating to enjoy a book, meals or just relaxing. The larger of the 2 patios boasts Peak Views and has a fire pit for cool nights and roasting s'mores! The yard is completely fenced to help provide a safe place for well behaved family pets.

PERFECT location, comfortable and relaxing!
This home is absolutely perfect for a stay in Flagstaff. Within walking distance of everything downtown and a very short drive to the grocery. The house was comfortable and relaxing and had the best kitchen cookware of any place I've stayed. Our thanksgiving was nearly just like home! Thanks!

Great find in Flag!
This sweet house is in the perfect location to walk downtown. The neighborhood is quiet. Plenty of closet space, comfy beds, and every amenity that you could want. Our favorite was the fire pit and the huge wall of books. Easy access to our host who was super accommodating to our needs. We loved it and will be back!

Quirky cool
Hubby, hound and I all enjoyed a great stay at this delightfully quirky home. For us the huge plus was the spacious fenced yard and various outdoor seating areas with comfy chairs and shade. Loved the private patio off the primary bedroom suite. We also enjoyed the easy walk into downtown Flagstaff to take in the local scene. Would love to come back again!

Quick birthday weekend in cool(er) Flagstaff
Spent a quick weekend to get away from the heat of the Phoenix area and celebrate my birthday. We're repeat clients, we enjoy the charm and character of the "crooked house" as we've taken to calling it. Yard is fenced but not of an appropriate height for anything but very small dogs. Couch could use replacing, but other than that a great little place to stay in Flagstaff.

Slightly substandard home at good location.
Living room and master bedroom pleasant. Owner needs to see that all is in good working order. TV was not working, there were no tv directions for 3 remotes, neither master bath outlet nor hairdryer working (when latter plugged in to bedroom outlets), bedroom lightbulb burned.out. We did have a good time at a great location, and owner was pleasant, but place was not ready for.prime time.

Wonderful Stay
Three of us over 70 year olds enjoyed our six night stay in this historic home. It was a great location to downtown but quiet from all of the hustle and bustle. The deck off of the patio was an especially lovely place to visit. Todd was always available if any issues popped up during our visit.
