"It is a beautiful typical "Landes" house, on a huge park, ideal for gatherings with family or friends. The house is huge and very pleasant to live in. We appreciated the size of the rooms and the large, perfectly equipped kitchen area, equipments and games for children, the number of bicycles and the access to cycle paths."

"We loved our stay in this house. The house is perfect, both inside and out. We are a family of 4 so the house was huge for us. 7 would have fit in without a problem. "We throughly enjoyed staying here. Derek and Bea were exceptional in their attention to their guests - nothing was too much trouble. A week is enough in our view as there is not a huge amount happening locally although trips to Bayonne, Biarritz and the Pyrenees are a good option. St Sever is a nice little town close by. Overall a very nice stay."

"We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautifully renovated and unusual house. It was lovely to sit and look at the horses and cattle in the grounds and the bird life was excellent. We could have done with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, such as a chopping board, but most things were there. The hosts were very friendly."

"The hotel were great at communication until they went home, arriving after reception hours we couldnt get hold of the out of hours caretaker, called hotels.com to help and eventually had to ask the restaurant to help find him. Once we found him he was great and was a big help. Room was spacious and they had made up the sofa bed for us in advance. "Het is een fijne locatie: groot huis met veel ruimte en grote kamers. Zwembad is heerlijk en best groot. Locatie is prima. Er is veel te bezoeken in de omgeving. Echter in het dorp zelf is niet veel te doen (wel een supermarkt express en twee bakkers. In Orhez (10 min rijden) is er een grote supermarkt. Huis is armoedig ingericht en meubels verouderd (Bank beneden is echt helemaal doorgezeten en bedden zijn erg laag), er is geen airco of vin (wat met temperaturen rond 30 graden wel lekker is) ,...

"If you arrive by car in the dark then its not easy to see the driveway to the Reception nor where you can actually park. You have to go in and ask! Very friendly and informative staff so first class in that respect. Room was fine and good enough but noisy smoking neighbours in next room on the adjoining balcony. Restaurant staff great. Usual disappointing menu but typical french fayre and they still dont know what a well done steak is! "
