Our hosts were brilliant and when there was a brief region wide power cut they were straight to us to ensure we had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to local pubs and a great historical stone circle at Stanton Drew. We loved our stay and made all the more special with it being Christmas. "

"This accommodation was perfect for my partner and I who needed to be in Cheddar with our dog for a couple of nights. The accommodation was as pictured, the shower was hot and powerful, the kitchen had 2 electric hob rings/microwave and fridge. All the required utensils for simple cooking, tea, coffee and sugar . Logs for the wood burner were also provided."

"Loads of room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the games room and hot tub. The nook in the garden is gorgeous and great for games night - watch out for the slippery decking though (when wet). It’s got everything you need and is great for pets. Would stay again."

"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "What can I say about the most amazing property to stay at new year. Catered for everything, even had a Xmas tree. Had fizzy wine, butter, biscuits, bread, jams. Even had a tour by the owner to where to sit on New Year’s Eve on the hillside over looking western. Shame it was only 2 days. "

"Excellent bed & pillows, quality bedding. Room size was good. Excellent breakfast. Blackout curtains very good. Welcoming helpful staff. Bedspread was a bit un-luxurious . Major negative point was no handheld shower option, not everyone likes a deluge over their head and face. But overall we had a wonderful stay and would certainly visit this boutique hotel again."

"Lovley hotel! Definitley recommend and would stay again. Rooms were cosy and comfy bed. Outside my room was a little creeky on the floor when people walked by, but didnt wake me in the night. Hot breakfast choice was delicious and dinner choices were good too. Selcuded, so nice and quiet around the area"

"I have stayed before and fined it excellent my only concern they should have wall grip handles to assist getting in and out of the bath. And they should provide toilet brushes in the bath room both these items are a must in my opinion and borders on health issues other wise ideal place to stay "
