I wouldn't find myself here again unless visiting friends or family but perhaps my experience just wasn't the best. My hope is that guests who stay in the future have a much better experience after staff read my review.

"We enjoyed the convenience to Winter place resort and the pub/grill located in the lodge, with delicious food, like a fried green tomato sandwich and penne Alfredo. The room was very comfortable and warm, just like the staff who were friendly and welcoming."

Perfect Ski Cabin
"We loved this cabin. Super easy to ski in and ski out. Fully stocked with all things you need. Only negative is you have to go outside and up a flight of stairs to get to the second floor."

Ghent is very close to Beckley which has many dining options. Winterplace has been great for us.

All the folks we met were very pleasant, both at Winterplace and at Skyline. We had a good dinner at the motel. Other than the ski slopes, which were great, we didn't see much of Ghent.
