"Excellent location and lovely view over the Tyne. Quiet hotel, good service at the bar. Good value 24hr parking. Would stay again. The only issue we had was a cold bedroom and we couldn’t get the temp to increase so we struggled to stay warm overnight. "

"Beautiful cottage, well furnished with a very well equipped kitchen. Very friendly hosts, who had not only decorated the cottage with a full sized Christmas tree etc, but had left a home made sandwich cake, fresh eggs, tea and coffee for us ok arrival - very much appreciated after a journey all the way from Australia. "

"Everything was lovely, clean, well equiped and just as advertised. Full kitchen with all the equipment and even some supplies. Bath was clean and had all needed supplies. Beds were great, comphy. The only thing I want to draw attention to is accessibility. Not a criticism, but if one were disabled they would want to know: 2 steps down to kitchen, 3 steps more to bathroom, a full flight of steep steps outside down to the washer under the stairs"
