"Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. "We had a lovely time. Torno is an idyllic little village with great food. The villa has stunning views of the lake and provides all necessary comforts. You can walk up into the hills from the villa and reach Como and around the lake easily by boat or bus."

"Sehr schön. Sehr schöner Blick von der großen Terrasse auf den See, abends besonders schön, wenn die Lichter in Stresa oder auf der anderen Seite in Baveno leuchten. Der Strand ist nicht eit weg, vielleicht 15-20 min zu Fuß. Es ist abgeschlossenes Gelände. Das kann man auf einem zur Wohnung gehörigen überdachten Parkplatz abstellen. "The apartment was exactly as pictured with a gorgeous view of the lake! The area is private and quiet. Laura was so kind to us! She picked us up at the train station and took me grocery shopping. We did not rent a car and the apartment is about a mile from town. I would say you might want one if you want to be out late. The trail to town is rustic and not something you could do in the dark. It is very steep! The apartment was well equipped and we got groceries and made a lite dinner each...

"Great apartment in a great location. There is a mini mart, bar and Gelato place next door. This is all very convenient and added to the over all enjoyment of our stay. A small beach is just a few steps away, we swam, had lunch and enjoyed this very much. What would make this place much better is more comfortable mattresses and more luxurious pillows. A few hundred dollars and a trip to IKEA for some new premium mattresses and pillows would go a long way to making visitors enjoy this...

"Initial impression was that main area of apt was smaller than in the pics, but still roomy enough for 4 adults - and view was great! Very clean, mattresses adequate, kitchen had all we needed, and within walking distance of stores, promenade, restaurants, etc. Elevator a plus for people with heavy luggage or mobility issues. We would stay here again."

"We are just back from a wonderful break at the villa in early May 2024. The villa is better than the listing shows as they have refurbished since the photos were taken. Very clean and comfortable with full amenities. We had beautiful weather so were able to really enjoy the gorgeous outdoor areas and a dip in the lake. We really enjoyed a peaceful week, mainly hanging out at the villa."

"Definitely worth it if you don’t like being right in city center or like taking a bit of a stroll. I really enjoyed walking along the lake to downtown. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff is really great. As frequent hotel guest, I’m not asking for perfection, I need the hotel to be attentive as life happens. The hotel was able to fix issues without interrupting my trip which I appreciate. "

"We chose this place for its proximity to Milano Malpensa airport. It turned out to be the PERFECT place for a relaxing stay before flying back to the US the next morning. Super kind staff, spotlessly clean and spacious room, and an excellent restaurant! We had a great dinner, and then they had a giant spread for breakfast in the morning. They clearly cater to foreign travelers, going out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. It's in a quiet, suburban neighborhood, so it provided a very peaceful last night in Italy for us. They also made it easy for us to book their shuttle to catch our flight in the morning (it was on-time and reliable, and only a 15-minute shuttle ride, even in traffic). I don't usually mention staff in a review, but this crew is exceptional! Everyone - from reception to the restaurant to the shuttle - was really warm and helpful. If we ever fly to/from Milan again, I would book a room here in a heartbeat."

"Amazing place, the hill is a bit of a climb but well worth the views, spent a lot of money on taxis as it’s away from a lot of transport links, may be worth hiring a car. Service is amazing, bar staff super helpful and restaurant very nice."
