We had a good stay at the Oval. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was good which we can see the Oval from the restaurant.
However Kelly who checked us in was not friendly. Not sure she should be working in hospitality as we thought we were dealing with a robot who have no facial expression and no warmth in her tone and can't even smile. The rest of the staff were all friendly with a lovely smile on their face which makes up the bad experience we have encountered initially.
Overall the stay was good but the check-in experience has put a sour note on our trip.
