Welcome to Beachsde Bungalow at the Victorian, a well equipped 2 bedroom + bunkroom gulf front condo welcoming up to 8 guests comfortably!Beach views from balcony, living, primary bedroom. Kitchen (4 burners, countertop oven, microwave and fridge - not tiny but not huge) equipped kitchen with cookware, dinnerware, etc. Beds are comfy, clean, all solid-surface flooring.

Spacious gulf front condo at the Victorian situated in the main building above the office of the complex. The complex has 2 pools (heated in the off season) 2 hot tubs, tennis court, fitness center, grilling/picnic areas and more for guests of the complex to share. There are many condos at this complex and while we don't manage all of them, we manage quite a few, so if you have a large group coming for a family reunion, one of the many competitions hosted at either the convention center or Moody Gardens (there are cheer, dance and sporting competitions) we can accommodate groups from 3 to almost 200 people at this complex! We would love to have you Come Stay With Us and when booking through us directly we can provide group pricing!

The kitchen features a refrigerator (not full sized, but also not a tiny dorm fridge), 4-burner cooktop, countertop oven and microwave. It has all the cookware, dinnerware, etc. you'll need for your group of 8 to prepare all of your own meals if you wish, or warm up leftovers from any of Galveston's awesome eateries that range from awesome burgers to 5-star, white tablecloth fine dining establishments.

We provide a bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest, as well as starter supplies (1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, trash bag, dish cleaning supplies, trash bag, soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel & lotion) and coffee. These are intended to be starter supplies and likely won't last your entire group for the duration of your stay - but it will get you situated for that first night while you find out just how close you are to the big box store that starts with a W - and grocery stores, and make your list of other things you may have forgotten and need to purchase - sunscreen, your phone charger, etc. We don't provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that you please not take our bath towels to the pool or beach, they can get ruined, walk away with others, or be accidentally left behind and we want you to have what you need for showering when you get back to the condo.

While this particular condo is not what most would consider luxurious or "posh" --- it is clean and comfortable and has absolutely everything you could need to have a great stay at the complex and in Galveston.

Our standalone beds are made with clean linen prior to your arrival, the sheets & pillows for the sleeper sofa will be found in one of the bedroom closets.

The TV's in this condo are all smart TV's - please remember to bring your login usernames and passwords, and to sign out before departing. These TV's do not have regular cable service to them.

The complex charges a resort / amenities / facilities access fee to all guests. As of this writing that fee is $35.00 per unit (not per person, not per night) for stays up to half of a month and $70.00 for a full month. When this is paid to the Victorian they will issue you up to 2 parking permits, up to 8 wristbands that identify you as registered guests at the complex, and the codes you will need for the system-wide WiFi, as well as codes for the walk through and drive through gates, pools, hot tubs, fitness center, pool restrooms - the shared spaces at the complex.

About 3 days prior to your scheduled check in date we will email you the driving directions and check in instructions for the property that contains a code to enter the condo. About 24-48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival we will call to verify that we have sent you the RIGHT code. As the codes are changed so frequently - we do this to ensure that you and only you have the code, and to ensure that we have provided you with the one that is set for your stay.

roaches, broken window, dilapidate building
There are serious problems with this unit. There is a roach problem, and structural/ maintenance problem's that could be safety issues. We found roaches in the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen, and there were was one crawling on me in the living room. We had to re-wash and dry every dish before using it. There is broken tile and uneven floor at entrance. While moving the curtains in a bedroom the curtain rod fell on us. The windows in the bedroom facing the street are structurally un-sound and on the verge of falling apart. Some sort of tape was applied to try to keep the window panes attached and sealed. This ruined the view from the bedroom since the tape is bubbling and peeling off. Additionally, there is a spot where the adhesive peeled off, and the window is separated from the pane, leaving a void exposing the room to the outside elements. This faulty window results in the room being excessively noisy, and not properly temperature controlled making sleep difficult. Also this unit is located on second floor facing the street directly above the lobby. The pictures don’t properly show that the patio opens up to the roof.
