"What a wonderful holiday home. New and fresh, photos don’t do it justice. Lots of space, bedrooms are upstairs - 2 bedrooms each with 4 single beds so could accommodate a large group. "We absolutely loved our stay at Cottage Yushin and would recommend that anyone staying at/around Lake Kawaguchi stay here as this side of the lake was very quiet and not nearly as crowded as the other side near Kawaguchi Station (the side where Mt Fuji is). "I had accidentally booked the reservation under only myself, when in actuality, I was staying with my two kids and husband as well. The Receptionist handled it very well (despite the language barrier) and she made sure we had everything we needed. The location is great, very walkable and the view is beautiful. Beds were really comfortable. Nothing bad to say! "

"Great service from all staff. Public onsen was beautiful and could be accessed privately late at night or during day (late morning/ early afternoon) and private onsen can be booked at reveption for 45 mins for 3300 yen. You are provided with slippers and a yukata for your stay as long as the usual amenities in your room. The breakfast, tea with cakes, and drinks reception with snacks daily was a lovely touch. Our room overlooked the beautiful lake kawaguchiko. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!"

"Beautiful property and private onsen. Very spacious room (regular room) with great features like sights into the private garden, additional seating and luggage area, large bathroom and our favorite part, the private onsen. The onsen was a very nice stone material great for two and a perfect temperature of 42/107 degrees. Great bathroom and large t.v. Very close to views of Fuji, walk to the lake annd a few grocery stores. Also a great ramen truck across the street. Amazing to see that the suits are not much more expensive $200-300 USD more. Only con was the king bed was not very comfortable. It had two doubles put together with two toppers which made it awkward and pushed you either very close to your partner or very far. Overall would stay again. "
