"Great location, super cute property. The amenities were excellent for kids. I wasn't sure if firewood was provided for the firepit but there was a huge stack of wood to use and the firepit was a highlight. My husband cooked steaks on the grill and that was also a big hit. The kitchen is very tiny, as other reviewers have said, but I'd rather have the space in the seating area—the kitchen table comfortably seats 10 and could do 12. We rented this home for a Christmas staycation and would happily stay in this house again. "

"We've stayed in a lot of houses on Fripp Island and this one is at top of our list of favorites! Location on the canal is perfect-- beautiful view! The house is comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated, bedrooms are large, and beds are comfortable! Greg was amazing to communicate with -- responding immediately & even let me know I had left a few things behind (never have I had anyone ask how to return items to me, and I'm certain I've left a lot:-) we will definitely be staying there again! "

"Great views of ocean including dolphins surfacing frequently. Had minor issue but communication was easy and issue was resolved quickly. We walked 5K loop several times on sidewalks, low-traffic roads, and retaining wall next to ocean. Deer near roads seem tame. Good restaurants including Seaside Grill (Wednesday shrimp night) and Beedos (Vegan smashburgers) within 20 minute drive."

"This is an amazing property! Inside and out! The pool and hot tub were perfect for the adults, as well as the children. Super clean and well stocked kitchen! They also had bikes and beach chairs we could use. Every bed was comfortable and the house is so spacious. Communication was superb. I highly recommend the Second Star! "
