The Element was very affordable for that area. The rooms were clean but if you took part in the breakfast, that was not. Tables were not cleaned and dirty dishes stacked in the corner. I thought looking at the map that eating establishments were in walking distance but after viewing are area felt it was unsafe to walk.

Extremely friendly service, close to bars and restaurants.
Onsite bars and restaurants were excellent.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Ben in the bar and John Paul the concierge were particularly helpful.

Not what I remember from years ago but still nice. Wish they opened early to avoid the heat and have more chance of animals playing and moving about. Feeding the giraffes was great!
