The property was clean. Construction is decent, and sound level was low, even with a room facing the main highway. HVAC was quiet. Plumbing made weird noises and the shower pressure pulsed in unison with the noises.
I chose this higher-priced hotel largely because multiple reviewers rated the breakfast highly. The breakfast content was pretty good in principle, but execution was lacking. Broken waffle maker, coffee run out, baked goods empty, bacon empty. Missing items were resupplied during the half hour or so I was at breakfast. But by then I had chosen something else to eat which was in fact present.
Breakfast staff should monitor the breakfast food levels, and replace them proactively when they run low, rather than waiting for them to run out, then resupply 15 minutes later. That would have made this a 5 star breakfast experience.
