Pillows had a bad smell. Floor was dirty and hair was not cleaned from the tub area. Breakfast was basic and not extremely tasty. Staff was nice and check-in was quick and easy. If you pay attention to details this hotel falls short in many ways. While updates in the room were nice, the chair/recliner looked to be from the 70's or 80's. Will not stay here again.

We overall had a good experience at La Quinta Inn at Peter Rd while our 2 nights stay before the cruise. Staff is courteous, good breakfast, good dining options around ,ample parking, clean bedrooms, safe area and nice location in a quiet neighbourhood (but have to plan for at least 1 hr if planning to drive downtown Miami due to traffic). Only cons are little outdated washrooms that need some upgrade and facelift.

This is my second time staying in this property. Last time was excellent and this time, my next door guests were so very noisy until very early morning like 1am. I had to knock the door to ask them please keep it quiet. Except that (which I think is a random luck with your next door neighbor), wonderful staffs and very nice breakfast.

Several cockroaches were crawling around the microwave and refrigerator. However, the hotel quickly changed our room. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. Breakfast area is too small to let everybody have a table

The property was understaffed with only one person checking in 6 people. The wait was quite long. DeeC was very polite and apologized for the wait. To accommodate the inconvenience, she allowed us to check in before 3. That was FANTABULOUS customer service!

Bathrooms had hairs all over the place. Hairs in the sheets and on several towels. I had to use a towel to ensure I didn’t get stuff in the bed. Not the cleanest place for sure. Wouldn’t recommend a stay to others.
