"The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

"I stayed in the Rosslea as I was attending a business meeting the next day. Firstly I was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so if you have mobility issues could be an issue. The room itself was adequate but would benefit from a revamp. The tv was ancient but perfectly useable. The bed was 2 pushed together so was a little strange when sleeping. The breakfast was really good and was included with the stay. Overall I had a pleasant stay."

"This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. "The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge.
