"Really nice hotel. Walk into town was quick. Hotel was perfect for a nights stay. We did one night in order to go to Milford Sound the following day, which was a lovely trip. The only thing I would say is that Te Anau is very quiet and in hindsight we might have stayed in Queenstown and taken the (very long!) bus trip to Milford Sound from Queenstown and by passed staying in Te Anau. Parking at the hotel was free and plentiful. View from room was stunning. Staff were nice. Room basic, but fine. Perfect one night stay. We ate at a restaurant called Ditto, which is walkable and nice. Hotel kindly let us keep the car in their car park after we had checked out and did our day trip. "

"This place was pretty good for the low price. About a 7 min walk from the central restaurant area of Te Anua. Definitely an older building, nothing fancy, but clean & reasonable for a low price."
