"The apartment was spacious. 1 bedroom, and sofa bed in living/kitchen area. Very clean and great air-conditioning. Kitchen/cooking area was basic but adequate for a short stay. "This hotel was phenomenal. I am well traveled, and found this to be exceptional. I was upgraded to one of the suites, where I had one of the largest balconies one could ever expect from a hotel overlooking the southwest of France. I also had another balcony in the sitting room. The staff was really friendly and helpful. One tip – you cannot really drive to this hotel. It’s hard to find, and you have to park a bit away in the parking lot and track up the hill into the walled city. ."

"The Hotel Le Donjon is one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. It was a great experience. From our room we could see the Chateau Comtal, the castle of Carcassonne. "I recently stumbled upon this hotel on our trip across France with my 3 children and we had such a wonderful stay that we will most definitely stay here again on future trips to France. "What a find! What the accomodation lacks in modernity, it more than makes up for in size of rooms, cleanliness, the MOST comfortable beds, facilities (including a pool and steam room) and self catering amenities. But what sets this place apart, is the most incredible breakfast - we have never had such choice and quality!!! The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff also deserves a big mention. Would definitely look at returning!"
