"Great spot stay in Faro. Perfect location for exploring the area nearby the waterfront. The view from our room was incredible. The furniture has seen better days. Not sure what the difference is between the rooms with a balcony and a “fully furnished balcony” is—we opted for the fully furnished balcony but it seems like all balconies had the same two chairs and table. Reception staff were great. Service at the hotel restaurant not so great. "

"We booked the last room expecting shared bathrooms and ended up with a large suite with a private bathroom. Not much interaction with staff, but the were friendly, it’s a little far from old town, (15 minute walk) but was quite charming. Located in a residential area. "Love, love, loved our stay here what a hotel. Beautiful palace with sympathetically added bedrooms. Spacious, luxurious rooms, again with fantastic views. Wonderful views for the pool and bar area-stunning.Do wander into the town and around the beautiful gardens. Friendly, helpful staff-booked us a taxi for early airport run, with a breakfast bag. Even went to the trouble of prepping us coffees at 5am. We felt thoroughly spoilt."
