"From the initial communication with the owner to our departure after two weeks of relaxation everything was ideal. "The property internally was very good but needs some finishing off. Property full of flies. VRBO advertised property inclusive of use of pool and hot tub. Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. Pool was cleaned on arrival, Wi-Fi was repaired following day. Grass was not cut. The owners dog used the long grass at the end of the pool to do it’s business. We will not return to this...

Historic town of Cognac under an hour away with plenty of shops and bars. The property itself is superb. Very well kitted out with everything that you could possibly need. "We booked 2 rooms but the automated system only gave us 1 at check in so we had to see the lady at reception after 5pm to get the second one. It is a Poor and confusing digital system. Also the location of the hotel is not helpful for access to restaurants in the evening. ( your own food offering was limited) We had a long walk round a busy unsafe road, or had to drive into the city."
