About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

The Chalet on the Ridge- a Mtn, ski and lake Escape!

Chalet on the Ridge is on a private lot with breathtaking views of the Bigelow Mountains range. This spacious 4-bedroom (+sleeping loft), 3-bathroom home is perfect for families and groups, comfortably accommodating up to 14 guests.

The house is equipped with cable, 5G high-speed WiFi, and good cell service. The exterior has a large porch with spectacular views and seating for your enjoyment. Watch the wildlife year-round from the dining room or step out to the porch to get a beautiful view of the mountains. The outside fire pit and level ground offer great space for outdoor relaxation.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern amenities. You will have everything you need to cook and serve your meals. We provide basic spices and starter tea and coffee. There is a large table inside and ample seating. The kitchen table looks out over the deck and has amazing sunrise views that lights up the chalet.

The main level offers wide open entertaining space with amazing views and large exposed wood beams and floor to ceiling brick fireplace (currently, not operational). A large 6 person table, 4 person bar, rocking chairs and 2 large couches all looking out through 20 feet of windows makes for a memorable time! There is also a full bathroom, laundry area, and utility room for your gear storage. For indoor days, the chalet offers a 50" smart TV with cable. The center table in the living room is stocked with games and is our favorite place to play checkers, cribbage and build puzzles!

The second floor offers an open loft area with a king bed and 2 twin beds with incredible views out the window. Down the hall, you’ll find a bedroom with 2 full size beds, high ceilings, and plenty of closet space. This floor also has a full bathroom.

The lower level has game room with views and full walkout access. Game room includes pool table, couch with TV, and two twin beds. There is a 3/4 bath and 2 additional bedrooms on this level. 1 bedroom has a queen bed and the other one has 2 twin beds. It’s a great separate living area that is perfect for hosting two families with their own space and convenience.

This home offers ample parking space for ATV/Snowmobile trailers (separate driveway specifically for trailers).

Guest access

The house is a single-family chalet style home and is only occupied by you and your registered guests. Reservations for up to 14 guests.

We have contactless check-in using a coded keypad. The area of 'owner access only' is a tall cabinet in the utility room on the main floor.

Good off mountain rental for golf trip
Golf trip to Sugarloaf with 8 guys. Nice views. Comfortable beds. The listing says sleeps 12 but that would have been crowded. Strong Wi-Fi signal. Cell service good. The outside is not pretty, but inside is better. Price is much less than staying on mountain.

Annual ski trip
Loved the house. One of our favorites of all the ski trips we’ve been on. Everything was clean and neat. If there would be one thing I would change it would be the bedroom layout, Only having one bedroom with a double bed and one with two double beds was not conducive for the couples on our trip. Other than that everything was perfect!

Nice open space, plenty of sleeping options, very comfortable and well located property. Outstanding view of the mountains, very peaceful, Maine. Only surprise, was that I didn't read the fine print, fireplace was locked and can't be used.
