"We had a great weekend in False River! For most of us, it was our first experience at an LSU game and needed a good place/location for the game. Ma Mamma’s is a great place for evening meal. Great food and perfect place to take a big group or just your special someone. The house was clean, spacious and provided everything and more for our group. "Great day trip to fish although the fish weren’t biting. We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday with a small group. It was perfect place for storing and serving food. Had the feel of a full size home. Lots of space outside. The deck was a lovely space to sit and socialize, with good shade."

"The property was exactly what we needed. Plenty of room, beautiful view on the water, and the home was just as beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and all the beds had the most comfortable bedding. We spent our mornings playing mahjong on the screen in porch while drinking coffee and looking at the water. During the day we went shopping in Saint Francisville and had dinner at the Myrtles. We will definitely be going back. The town of New Roads was so cute. It was raining the day we left and the owner gave us an extra hour to check out which was so nice. The only suggestion we had for property is to mark the long driveway with house numbers, we had some trouble seeing it in the night. "
