"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"Bushi-san really makes this place extremely fun and special! It was a very unique experience to stay in a lovely traditional style home, with such a gracious and fun host. The traditional homemade Japanese breakfast was delicious. The other guests staying at the property were friendly and it was wonderful to spend a meal together. "The location of the hotel is amazing, you cannot be closer to the Great Buddha, it is also a good experience to sleep in an old Japanese room. That said, you then understand why old Japanese houses are not worth much and Japanese people tend to prefer living in some modern less exotic dwellings. "Great location in Hase area of Kamakura. Easy walking distance to beach and temples. Good public transit near by. Clean and quiet location. Didn’t realize I’d have to share a toilet with several other rooms. My room had a shower, but my family had to use another on the first floor. It was locked when they wanted to use it and no staff around to assist. They ended up using mine, which was fine as we’re family, but it would have been easier if the room key worked for the showers too. "

"This was my second time to stay at the Sotetsu Fresa. It is super convenient to Yokohama station so it is easy to go to local shopping, Yokohama Chinatown. or even Kamakura. The rooms are super clean- as are most Japanese hotels, and my rooms was relatively spacious comparing to other Japanese hotels. Some reviewers have commented on the train noise. I stayed on the 13th floor, and while I could hear the trains, they weren't loud enough to keep me from getting a good nights sleep, and I'm a light sleeper. The train noise is simply the price for the convenience of the hotel. I'd stay at this hotel again."
