Spacious renovated Mountain House in Coosawattee River Resort

Built for comfort, this spacious newly renovated private mountain house is nestled into the private gated Coosawatte River Resort Community in Ellijay and is loaded with amenities! You can enjoy tennis courts, 3 pools, River access for tubing Kayaking, or fishing, multiple fishing ponds, Trails, a Recreation Center with an indoor pool, gym and game room as well as a private events facility (The fire place room). The mountain house itself boasts two very large decks for entertaining excellent for grilling and chillin. Inside, you will enjoy an enormous living and dining area with two large comfortable couches, a fire place, and a 75 inch smart TV. additionally, there is also a separate living area for the kiddos with another smart TV, electric fire place, and two fold out couches!. Be careful not to disturb the many deer that call our property home and seem to enjoy our company! The pictures say the rest!

Wedding getaway
We stayed here and had our wedding rehearsal dinner and all of our family over. The cabin was more than accommodating! Only thing that was not good is there is a lip in the middle of the kitchen/dining room and folks kept tripping. We put one of the rugs over it and it seemed to work well. We absolutely loved the area and the neighbors! There are deer everywhere! I couldn’t keep my youngest inside he was just having the most fun! We will definitely be back! Mark was super responsive and helped with getting my aunt’s kindle back to her after she realized she left it in one of the rooms. Everything was amazing! 10/10 we will be back!

Ellijay Mountain weekend
Wonderful for our girls weekend! Lots of room and home was equipped with anything we needed. Comfortable beds and linens. Nice fire pit to relax after day of wine vineyards and apple orchard. Throughly enjoyed our stay! Rated 4 for Check in. It is a gated community. Need an entrance code to provide the attendant. We called owner - who spoke to rental office and had a code in 15 minutes. Owner was most responsive on any inquiries

Beautiful location with a lot of deer. House had garbage cans in the basement that were left from previous guests which created an infestation in the house. The owner did finally call an exterminator which happened on day 4 of 7 but we still had flies Sewer smell in the house on the last 2 days. Some of my guests and myself left the house early.

Great time in Ellijay!
This is a great place! Spacious and plenty of room for a family of 12. We used the smaller family room as an extra bedroom (we brought extra linens). The kitchen needs a few extra things to better enable cooking for a large crowd but it was sufficient. The house was spotless, beds very comfortable. The location was great. Plenty to do! We would definitely stay again!

The house was great. We were all comfortable. Little things need to be done with house, but not an inconvience at all. We did so many things and always felt right at home when we returned. The deer outside were amazing. They came right up to you. Such a fun experience

Overall, the house was great. Lots of space with good sized bedrooms and living spaces. The only negative is that in the listing it stated there was a hot tub but there was not a hot tub on property or in the community recreational center. We would have chosen a different property had we known.

Beautiful home amidst hundreds of deer.
This home was absolutely beautiful and very large. We had 4 adults and 1 child and could very easily have had at least 4 more people and been extremely comfortable. Beautiful styling. There were deer everywhere! I would highly recommend this home.

The house is spacious and was generally very clean. The kitchen is well appointed and the bathrooms are beautiful. The gas logs in the fireplace are not hooked up. The central heat did not work and was not fixed. There were dirty towels in the washer and some on towel racks. The septic system had a break in the line so the smell was overpowering in one ensuite bedroom and bath. It was worked on but not fixed. The beds looked like Queen beds but were Full sized. There was one King sized as pictured. The gas firepit outside was inoperable. Communications with the host were unsatisfactory: He did not answer promptly or completely. Entry directions to the gated community were lacking. When we inquired for clarification, the answers caused us to have to drive to the West gate and drive to the house, causing a 22 minute mountain road drive, when we could have entered any of the gates. We were traveling from SE of Ellijay.
