we have rented cabins in several different states and this one is one of if not the best one we have rented. It is convenient to the town and shopping. We totally enjoyed our stay and are talking about renting it again

We enjoyed this cabin very much. There was plenty of room, the porch was great to sit out and enjoy the sound of the river. River access was nice. We had one issue with the hot tub not heating up but I messaged the host and he responded right away with how to fix it, which worked, so we were happy. I would definitely stay here again, we love this area as well!

Nice view
Nice view of the river, kitchen and baths well stocked. Owner communicated well, responded quickly. Enjoyed the pool table though it and sticks have seen better days. Lots of deer and some in the yard, which was fun. We enjoyed the rec center even though it is a 20 minute ride. Unfortunately house was not clean enough for us. Oven in kitchen dirty. Shower had mildew and hair. Cobwebs in the rafters and crumbs under the sofa cushions. Decks not blown off or hosed down and windows washed in awhile.

We really enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. The adults enjoyed the relaxing sound of the river while on the deck or sitting around the fire pit was very relaxing. The kids really enjoyed fishing, tubing and playing in the river. The house was very well equipped with kitchen, bed and bath supplies. Highly recommend this house me for anyone looking to stay in the ellijay/blue ridge area

The cabin was gorgeous and cozy. We loved waking up to hear the river and sitting on the porch listening to the birds. As a Floridian the roads were pretty intimidating but in no way ruined our overall experience. The location was excellent close enough to pick up forgotten essentials and a reasonable distance from attractions.

Beautiful Cabin with amazing view
Beautiful view, loved the porch space and sitting areas. My toddlers loved the back porch and it was locked so it was very safe. Downstairs definitely got cold, luckily saw the personal heaters on day two and they helped a lot. Wasn’t crazy about the kitchen table because it was very high and only sat four. Loved the toddler/children’s table. Beds were cozy. Sheets great. Beautiful resort, lots of deer and wildlife. Ready to go back. Overall good experience.

Great Cabin - Has Everything you need!
Just getting back after a long weekend at this cabin! My family and I had a spectacular time. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed! Plenty of trash bags, soap, detergent and other odds and ends. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of storage. The check in/out process was very easy and quick! The only "downside" we experienced was the Hot Tub was not on when we arrived, and the water temp said it was around 52 degrees - the hot tub seems to turn itself on/off - so it took nearly our entire stay (3 days) to get the water up to 100degrees.. but the kids made due once it hit 90. Overall - Great time, great cabin!

Rapid Retreat beyond our expectations!
This vacation property is more beautiful and larger than how it appears online. The views from every window are gorgeous. We saw so many deer and Canadian geese. We loved the little extras offered through out the home like the Christmas trees, and board games. Best of all it was completely dog friendly. Ideal location near downtown Ellijay that is home to one of our favorite restaurants The Canterberry and many pet friendly shops!

Cozy river cabin
This property was perfect for our trip to Ellijay for a wedding. It was close enough to downtown but felt like a retreat next to the river. It had all of the amenities needed and we would love to come back in the warmer months to have fun in the river. No problems whatsoever.

Great Getaway Cabin!
Cabin was very clean, plenty of sleeping area, huge bathrooms. It was great having the game room downstairs along with the hot tub. Outside fire pit area was easy to enjoy and the kids loved playing in the river trying to catch crawfish. Overall a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful vacation as a family of 7! Comfortable beds, beautiful views of the river, and extremely kind and responsive host! The sound of the river with morning coffee was perfect to set the tone of the day. We all really enjoyed seeing deer throughout the resort as well.

Wonderful property! Cozy, spacious, well-stocked! Comfortable beds, fabulous hot-tub and wonderful riverfront fire-pit. The picture showing the view of the fire-pit seating and river must be a little dated as the river view is a bit more obstructed due to low-hanging tree branches that haven’t been trimmed and taller shrubs. But that’s just a minor thing… view is still great! We loved it!

Peaceful Retreat
We had a great time at the cabin. I was there with my husband, son, and my son's dog. Knuckles loved hanging out with us on the wrap around porch (fully gated) and going on walks at local parks, including East Park inside the development. Walkability directly from the house was limited but plenty available with a short car ride. The cabin is very spacious - true to the description and pictures. Super clean. The beds are comfortable and the showers work well. Very nice washer/dryer. The best part is the river - beautiful to look at and listen to. I floated a bit, tethered to a tree - wish I had tried a longer float down the river (we'll have to come back!) The owners are excellent communicators - always responded immediately to my messages and put together a comprehensive binder in the cabin with all the info you would ever need. They truly want you to enjoy your stay.
