"I booked and paid for a hotel room in advance. At the reception, I was given a key and went to the room. However, the room wasn’t prepared for guests—it still needed to be cleaned. "The cabin was perfect for our stay while doing the carriage rides at the Peoria Riverfront Museum at their special event. The horses were staying at a farm in Hanna City so it was very convenient. It was so fun to see the bison out the back door, on Sunday they were closer so it neat to see them. All the Christmas lights were fun to see. We will definitely be looking to come back next year when we are in the area again. "
