"Staff was great and friendly. Food was excellent. Room was awkwardly shaped corner room that had poor lighting and the window view blocked any sunlight, but was in a good location near elevator on the 3rd floor. Everything was clean. I had selected sort hotels by those which included breakfast, but breakfast was extra. That was a little surprising."

"Jose is the absolute best! He is an asset and was the best part of our stay. The greeters at the door and in the lobby were also super helpful and always friendly. The French restaurant was a plus, but no microwave in the room so we couldn’t heat up and enjoy our leftovers. Beds were very comfortable."

"Cutest, coziest hotel ever! The rooms are small, but it’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design to make every guest’s stay as comfortable as possible. The iPad control system for the lights, blinds, and TV is a great touch. The lobby and restaurant/bar have such a unique and cozy vibe—it feels stylish yet welcoming. I’ve stayed at high-end hotels, but this place was so thoughtfully designed and charming that I’d absolutely stay here again. I’m also excited to check out other CitizenM...

"I visit DC regularly for work but have always stayed at another hotel on the Wharf. I needed several rooms and only the Pendry could accommodate me. I loved it! The rooftop bar edamame, sushi, and drink were excellent. Keiko was gracious and accommodated my group. The host was not at all helpful with mixed messages about reserved seating and did absolutely nothing to try and help my group find tables and chairs. Thank goodness for Keiko! The gym is fabulous! Room service is excellent and timely...

"Overall the hotel was great, we had an oven, dishwasher, and washer/dryer in our unit. Room was clean. The only thing that was an issue for our trip was very limited parking. We had to scope out surrounding streets for a parking spot. And the area around the hotel was not great. If you are a light sleeper, this is probably not the hotel for you. It’s very noisy. Especially during the weekdays. But overall, we were satisfied with our stay. We’d stay here again if we were to come back to DC. "
