"the place is restored 1931 house. a lot of care went into getting it fixed to the original "Japanese era" style. It's pretty much the same as the pictures. However, at the check in, we ran into a major snags. The listing shows 2 rooms/2 baths, but the proprietor only gave me ONE room of the 2 room listing, because he assumed all 4 of us could fit into a tiny room. That wasn't acceptable to us. "The staff at check-in were very friendly. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. There was a nice variety of options for breakfast, and the trainee girl at check-out was very sweet. I will definitely consider staying here again the next time I visit Taichung."

Excellent stay

"Stayed one night at this hotel. Bed was very comfortable and I liked that there were two different types of pillows to choose from. My room faced the street so I was a bit worried that all the street noise would keep me up, but once you closed the bathroom door (the windows were in the bathroom) it was silent! Slept like a baby and enjoyed my stay."

"Awesome hotel with a professional staff. Hotel was very clean and accommodating. They had complimentary drinks with easy check in and out process. Parking was included. My favorite part of the day was leaving and coming back to the hotel and being greeted by professional staff at the parking location."
