"Camilla's place in Cortina was EPIC. We had the good fortune to be in the OFF-season (late November!) - which meant that the massive and summer and winter crowds were gone. Camilla's place is exactly as it seems. First, it's gorgeous. Most of the world would say it's weird to have an apartment building WAY up a hill above a small town. "My husband and I enjoyed the personal attention we received by our kind and friendly hosts. They met us at the bus station at arrival and gave a tour of the apartment. Our hostess baked a lovely cake that helped fuel our hikes and accompanied our afternoon tea. No detail was overlooked. "

Renting via ferrata in falcade very expensive so we did it from cortina. "First off-Andrea was gracious to let us in early but the address of the property is wrong so after several times walking up and down the street we found the place only after messaging Andrea for the exact location. He had said he left the key in the door so in the 1st floor terrace. USA 1st floor is street level and Italy is apparently the next level up so then we couldn’t fnd the unit. "Property is as advertised and photos are accurate. Kitchen is well supplied with dishes, pots, etc.. Building is well up a hill so though groceries are available close by, walking would not be easy with a load. This building is back off the road and you have to hunt for 64 as it is behind a couple of other buildings. Once you find it, access is easy though the keys are touchy.Be aware that the outside door self locks and you need a key to exit the building."

"We liked everything about this little apartment. We did not have a car, but the rental is just a 10 minute road and path walk from town and the bus station where we caught buses for hikes into the Dolomites. The apartment was just right for two people. We cooked many of our meals there after shopping at the well-stocked Conad grocery store. We would definitely stay here again."

"The location is great. The space of each bedroom are great. But as an apartment based on our experience, we thought the host would supply us some salt, sugar or cooking oil. But there was nothing. There was no microwave. And they just provided us two small soaps and four small bags of shampoo for four peoplex4 night stay. So we request more, but they never sent to us. We have to buy those staff ourself."

"The staff was exceptional during our stay (off season right before closing for holiday)… and we found the location just right for walking to trails in the area. Our room was very nice except we had an exceptional small bathroom ( one had to sit on the toilet at an angle or your knees hit the shower wall). Also, it turned cold rainy and snowy while we were there but the fireplace was not lit :( I would recommend this place again! "
