「Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room.」

「What a lovely place! The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean. The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can. I strongly recommend booking a table as from what I could see the place is very popular and you do t want to miss out on trying the food! 」

「I got the single bedroom, it was compact with shared common toilet. There was a nice shower and sink in the room. Pillow was filthy with yellow stains. Single bed duvet. The bed being a single was cramped, probably not suit a 6ft or taller person. 」

「The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff.」

「The hotel was easy to get to and park being at a motorway services. Receptionist was polite and helpful and the room was quite and comfortable. I was pleased that there was a bath as well as the shower. Many places don't have baths anymore. The room was a bit dated but everything worked and was clean. Very good value at a cheap price...」

「Very friendly family run establishment, a real personal service that you don’t get at larger hotels, or even b and b’s. The owners clearly think of how to provide a pleasant experience for their guests. Location really nice village with some nice pubs within minutes walk」
