"Nice hotel in good location, and looks to be involved in the local community; given the dance class in progress when I checked in - which looked like very good fun! My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good; I had one of my best sleeps in any hotel. Bathroom is fine and the shower is very good. Enjoyed my brief stay, and will definitely be staying here again."

"Beautiful new hotel, reasonably clean and tidy. The price justifys itself in relation to all. It is a long way from the city center. We used it as a base for work. The job we were on in construction was quite a dusty dirty one and we were looking forward to a decent shower. For such a new hotel we expected it to have good water pressure but it was extremly dissapointing. It may be the pressure is turned down to conserve water but if the water pressure is going to be that poor the rating should...

"Was apprehensive as we were moved to the sister hotel across the sqaure,only to find newly refurbished,came in on the Saturday night to find a complementary tray of cakes and fruit plus a free drink in the hotel bar for having to move hotel,which we most appreciated. "

Simply idyllic - you’d never think you were just outside Dublin in this quiet, tucked away garden - 20-30 minute car ride to city centre or catch the train at the end of the driveway. "The hotel was closed and put into receivership on May 1, 2015 and we did not know. Expedia should have known they were going into receivership and closing. We had to scramble to find another hotel on a crowded " Bank Holiday" (three day) weekend. Had to spend double to get rooms. Shame on Expedia. You let us down. We are very unhappy with you. Holiday Inn Express Dublin City Centre, an IHG Hotel

"I liked the location with abundant dining options nearby . The breakfast was fantastic ! The staff awesome !!! Zorem( I think that was her name , was the best ! The only thing that was lacking in the room was a makeup mirror in the restroom . But it’s just a minor issue . I would definitely stay here again . "

"The hotel lobby is impressive and has many places to sit and relax, including the Writers Bar. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, particularly our host Stephen who was wonderful. The daily breakfast was outstanding and very well managed by the hard working staff. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we wanted, including a fridge and tea kettle. The hotel is well situated and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to see, or organize a cab easily (we never waited more than a minute or two). There are also buses that stop frequently out front. I don't have a single criticism - I would definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to return again on our next trip to Dublin."
